UK games industry outlet MCV has reported that apparently both  the next Xbox and the Playstation 4 will be shown at this year's E3 in June.

MCV's online editor Ben Barfitt claims "Obviously we can't reveal our sources. But you have my personal words on this - the source is exemplary, 100% concrete, ultra high level."

Whilst this news could be pretty amazing for many console gamers we shouldn't necessarily expect a full blown reveal. We might just see the first teasers.
With Microsoft and Sony in an arms race of sorts its expected that they both will reveal new consoles in each others footsteps.

With Nintendo giving details such as release and pricing for the Wii U this may well be one of the greatest three way showdowns we have ever seen at E3.
